Lenore Pinello
Newly retired Jupiter, Florida resident Lenore Pinello has long known that the next chapter in her life would include her passion for great food. After a 28- year career in Publishing and Sales Management, a cooking class at a local culinary shop changed her life. An invitation to teach a class featuring foods from her family cookbook, Mangia Mama was all it took; she was hooked! "I felt like Emeril, I just had to open a shop of my own" said Lenore.
New York City native, Lenore, has been inspired by the fabulous cooks in her life, mom Anne Roberto, and sister Barbara De Vita, She is at her best in the kitchen where she gives it her all and cooks from the heart. Small wonder In the Kitchen’s logo is the artichoke, which symbolizes the heart. Friends, old and new, are greeted at the shop with the same warm reception as they receive at her home. It’s important that everyone has a wonderful experience at In the Kitchen. Lenore strongly believes down the road people will forget what you said or what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. And, at In the Kitchen the feeling is “ welcomed” !
Lenore lives in Jupiter with her husband of 18 years Charlie and their “canine kids”, Cinnamon and Sofia.

“As a transplant from South Jersey I am always on the lookout for unique shops. I have found one of Jupiter Tequesta's best kept secrets. In the Kitchen opened about one and one half years ago. I was surprised to find out it is more than just another kitchen store. Lenore Pinello has developed a wonderful concept incorporating a retail shop and cooking school. The experiences that both Chef Lenore and Chef Joe share with the guests are wonderful. Both men and women enjoy these classes and often a guest is invited to take part in the preparation. My husband and I recently attended a Mangia Mama Class and I, an Irish girl, found out even I can make pasta. The atmosphere created is one of being a guest in Lenore's home, completely relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend this as a wonderful evening out for anyone, even a group of friends looking good food and lots of fun.“
